Over the Garden Wall is a mini animated series produced by Cartoon Network consisting of ten episodes. The series stands apart from other cartoons due to the philosophical messages it conveys. Our main characters, Wirt and Greg, are two brothers with opposite temperaments. The series tells the story of these two brothers getting lost in a forest called the Unknown. The show signals that we can liken this journey to real life. Getting lost in the forest of the Unknown is compared to a human's search for direction in life. The troubles we encounter because of our curious sides, just like Greg, and the regrets we avoid out of fear due to our skeptical and know-it-all sides, just like Wirt… Indeed, both our regrets and our curiosities have many lessons to learn from one another, just like Wirt and Greg.
