About

The father of our household, Jay, marries Gloria, who is significantly younger than him, after divorcing his ex-wife. Gloria has a son named Mitchell from her previous marriage. Mitchell is one of the gay characters in the series. The other gay character is Cameron. These two characters get married and adopt a baby from Vietnam. Jay also has a daughter named Claire from his ex-wife. Claire and her husband Phil are perhaps the most colorful couple in the show. This couple also has 3 children, each stranger than the last. The series centers on the hilarious events involving these three families and their relationships with each other. This comedy series aired between the years 2009 and 2020 for 11 seasons.
